Data Deletion Request

AIO Solution must have it reviewed before Selfcast accepts payments or personal data. Passages in square brackets are unresolved facts, not redactions.

1. If you have an account

Open a character and use Delete and withdraw consent. That removes the uploaded photographs, every image generated from that face, any model trained on it, and the stored face measurements — immediately, not within the 7 days we are obliged to take. Your account and any finished episodes are left alone; they keep working and still name the character.

Deleting biometric data is not reversible, and that character cannot generate again without a fresh upload and fresh consent.

There is not yet a one-click delete my whole account in the product. Email [GRIEVANCE OFFICER EMAIL] and we will do it within 7 days. We would rather say that here than point you at a button that is not there.

2. If you do not have an account

If someone else uploaded your face or voice, you can still ask us to delete it. Email [GRIEVANCE OFFICER EMAIL] with:

enough to identify the material — a link, an episode reference, or a description;
confirmation that the face or voice is yours;
a way to reach you.

We may need something to confirm your identity before deleting biometric data, because acting on an unverified deletion request is itself a way to attack someone's account. We will ask for the least we can work with.

3. What is deleted

uploaded photographs, selfie videos and voice samples;
identity kits, reference images and any trained identity model derived from them;
cloned voice profiles, including at the speech provider that holds them;
episode descriptions, scripts, stills and rendered video;
account details.

4. What we keep, and why

Billing records — retained as Indian tax law requires. These record amounts and dates, not content.
Consent records — retained as evidence of what was agreed and when, which is the entire point of holding them. Retained for [CONSENT RECORD RETENTION PERIOD] after deletion.
Audit and security logs — retained for abuse investigation.
Content you published elsewhere — outside our control; you will need to remove it from that platform.

5. Backups

Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to [BACKUP RETENTION PERIOD] before those backups expire. It is not restored to live systems.
